Do I need a GPS collar or tracker?
No. PupMiles uses the location sensor already in your iPhone. There's no collar, no dongle, and no hardware subscription to buy. Bring your phone like you already do, start a walk, and you're tracking.
What's actually included in the free version?
Free is a real app for one pup. You get live walk tracking, your most recent history, a weekly streak ring, and iCloud-backed storage. It is not a trial — no clock running out.
Premium unlocks the fuller system: Pack Mode for multiple dogs, unlimited history, routine insights, saved routes, and the full per-pup calendar.
What is Pack Mode, exactly?
Pack Mode is how PupMiles handles multi-dog households. Every pup gets their own streak, history, routine, and progress view. When you walk several together, you log it once and each dog's week updates at the same time.
Pack Mode is a Premium feature.
Is PupMiles on Android?
PupMiles launches on iOS. An Android version isn't currently planned. If that changes, we'll announce it on this site — email bustedpixelmedia@gmail.com if you'd like to be told directly.
Will tracking drain my battery?
PupMiles only uses location while a walk is active and releases it when you end the walk. A typical 30-minute walk costs a few percent of battery. We don't run background location outside of active walks.
What happens to my walks and location data?
Your walks, routes, and pup profiles are stored on your device and synced through your personal iCloud account. We do not sell location data, we do not share it with advertising networks, and we do not run ads inside the app.

Can I cancel Premium later?
Yes, any time, directly in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. You keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for. Your walk history stays on your device either way.
Does PupMiles replace a vet or a trainer?
No. PupMiles is a fitness and routine tracker, not medical or training software. It helps you stay consistent. For health or behavioral questions, talk to your vet or a qualified trainer — PupMiles can help you describe the pattern they ask about.
